New Cell Group In Cerro Colorado!

Nohemy and I are happy to report that we have consistently met with the Martinez family in San Camilo for three weeks now. Patti and Miguel live in the Cerro Colorado district and have housed many North Americans from Extreme during their language training. Patti has been hesistant to start a Bible study in her home for some time now, but has opened up to Nohemy and I. This is obviously, all because of God. We meet on Friday nights at 5pm with Patti, Miguel and their young daughter Maria. This is a family full of questions, full of curiosity and eager to learn more about the Bible. The Martinez family is open to hearing what Nohemy and I are wanting to share with them, but often have their own views and thoughts. Please pray that God reveals to them what ever it is they need to hear, and that they are willing to listen to him. Pray that God gives us the words to say, and that he is the center of our visits every Friday. We praise Him for this opportunity, and for this amazing family.

Frustratons

We believe the Devil wouldn't be attacking us so much if we weren't doing something right. We have had a very frustrating couple weeks as we travel from office to office trying to get the documentation we need to do the festivals, movies and concerts we want to do in this area. The anger grows the more we get shoved around office to office, and every person acts like the next person will know just how to help you. This morning, we got the news that we are not allowed to do any impact in the main plaza as we were hoping. Although this was another huge downer for us--we need to remember God is still in control regardless of how we are feeling, and He is going to make a way for us to reach the un-reached. I pray our next blog post will be us informing you that we have found a location to start our impact, and that God is good. Because after all----He is.

Problems? Already?

Nohemy and I have spent the better half of this week going around to our three districts trying to get the documentations we need to be able to do our impacts in the community. You obviously have to have some type of permission to hold kid festivals, Jesus films and concerts. It has been difficult for us to get the paperwork we need. I feel that our districts are in the heart of Arequipa--this is making it harder for us. Please pray for us as we continue trying to accumulate the documents we need. We know God will make a way, and we are so excited to start our work in Cayma.
